I decided to measure out and cut the panel, based on the avionics I know I'm putting in and currebtly have.
After spending quite a bit of time measure and laying out the grid, I cut with the dremmel, used some files and then deburred.
I placed the D180 in place with the HS34 and the AP74 along with the A/S and ALT. It all fit nicely.
I later powered it up and connected the G496 to see if it was working. Eventually, I got the settings right and the D180 was seeing the G496. Cool stuff.
Anyway, The panel is good enough, but, I wasn't happy with the cutout for the allimeter. I sent Bill from UpNorth Aviation an email and away we went. In a few days, my panel was firmed up after a couple of changes from what you see above and it will be cut in the near future.
